Plot Summary

The film follows the Eternals, a group of immortal beings with superhuman powers who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years. After believing they had eradicated the Deviants centuries ago, the Eternals have been living among humans, awaiting further instructions from Arishem.

In the present day, the sudden re-emergence of the Deviants forces the Eternals to reunite and confront the true purpose of their existence: to prepare Earth for the "Emergence," a catastrophic event that would lead to the birth of a new Celestial, resulting in Earth's destruction.
